Meet Elsa | Founder & Owner of The Woodlands
I love to be part of life’s amazing milestones and watch as people weave their moments and memories from The Woodlands into the fabric of their lives. Being a part of writing personal history and helping people navigate not only the mechanics of an event but the emotions that flow along with it, is part of my calling. 20 years of Wedding Coordination and Planning experience allows me to create space with thoughtful intention and to be your guide to help you navigate the planning process and float through the day of with ease.
I grew up here in Bozeman and couldn’t bring myself to leave except for the occasional travel adventure. I adore great food, a glass of bubbly, big sunglasses, and hammocks. I love soaking in local hot springs, river floats under the summer sun, and a great powder day on the hill.

Meet Megan | Lead Event Coordinator & Venue Manager
Megan is the creative force and problem-solving expert behind every seamless event at The Woodlands. As the lead event coordinator and venue manager, she brings a sharp eye for design, quick thinking, and a calm presence to every wedding. From transforming unique visions into stunning realities to finding innovative solutions on the fly, Megan thrives on making each event unforgettable. Whether guiding couples through the planning process or managing day-of details with precision, she ensures every celebration at The Woodlands is both beautiful and stress-free. A budding graphic designer and a master crafter of too many incredible things to list, Megan’s skills go far beyond event coordination. From furniture building to property care, day-of support to custom signs and invitations, she is our in-house, about-property badass.
Meet Jaslin | Lead Client Communications
Jaslin’s easy laughter and stylish grace, paired with her vast wedding knowledge, make her the perfect guide for your Woodlands experience. She loves being in the mountains—skiing, camping, dirt biking, or hiking with friends—making The Woodlands an ideal place for her to blend work with nature. With eight years of experience at The Woodlands, she knows her stuff!
Whether providing Day-of Coordination or planning a full event, Jaslin’s warmth and calm approach keep things running smoothly. She helps clients stay present in the moment, ensuring every detail is executed seamlessly for intimate gatherings, traditional weddings, or swanky Montana celebrations.

The Woodlands Story
We grew up in this small town. . .before it was the swanky way it is today. In 2000, I married an incredible man that manifests dreams into reality and together we built The Woodlands in 2004. He keeps me laughing harder and loving deeper as the years go on. He is my best friend and my forever. Ask me if you want to hear the story of how the hairs stood up on my arms when I first walked onto this property or the crazy story of how we built The Woodlands when we were 26!
Every board on this building has been lovingly touched by us. A vast amount of hard work and thoughtful intentions have flowed into every corner of this place. We have shaped it to be rich in organic beauty, intimate and private, and filled with ways to have ease and joy. Because it was built as a venue without being a historic barn prior, it flows more smoothly into the event you want to have. On this land, we have hosted over a 1,000 incredible events, I have raised my babies into two dynamic and creative young ladies and planted trees that stand witness to all of it. It took an incredible community of friends and family that helped us turn this property into the container for joy that it is today,
